Pier 39 Christmas Tree Lighting Show
Nov. 26, 2024 through Jan. 5, 2025 | 5 to 10 pm
An awe-inspiring Christmas tree has welcomed millions of visitors at the Entrance Plaza of Pier 39 every holiday season since 1983, becoming a not-to-be-missed San Francisco holiday tradition.
Christmas Lights and Gardens
at Oakland’s Temple Hill
Nov. 29, 2024 - Dec. 31, 2025 | Dusk to 9 pm
This beautiful spot is perched high above Oakland on Temple Hill and is visible from many parts of the East Bay. The gardens are open to everyone.

There are tons of pop-up ice skating rinks in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. Here’s a list of the biggest & best rinks, and some of the permanent ice rinks where you can skate year-round.
Alameda: Christmas Tree Lane
5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m daily through Dec. 31st
In Alameda, the 3200 block of Thompson Ave, between High St. and Fernside Blvd, has been called Christmas Tree Lane for 85 years. It is known for its extravagant light displays on over 50 homes. Santa Claus will visit the area from 6:30-8:00 p.m. daily until December 23rd.
Oakland Zoo's Glowfari Light Festival
Dec 1-23, 26-31 | Jan 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26
All Ages | 4:30pm – 9:00pm
One of my favorite annual holiday light events! I highly recommend this fun stroll through the Oakland zoo to see larger than life light installations. Take a peek at my video and get tickets at the link below.
