August is almost here, and somehow summer is moving too quickly as always. The days are longer, the evenings are warmer, and I hope you’re finding time to slow down and enjoy.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the many families and individuals I’ve had the privilege of helping recently and over the past 25 years. Every move is different, but some transitions carry more emotion than others.

Recently, I've enjoyed helping longtime homeowners figure out their next chapter. I've gained incredible insights that can truly make this transition easier. Downsizing is a unique time in one’s life, and it isn’t as simple as just moving from a larger home to a smaller one. It can mean sorting through decades of memories, making difficult decisions, and figuring out what comes next. For their children or loved ones trying to support this transition, it can also feel overwhelming and challenging to know how best to help—or even where to begin.

I’ve been focusing on creating a thoughtful process to help homeowners and their families downsize with grace, ease, and confidence. My goal is to make the process feel less overwhelming and more manageable — and, ultimately, help people envision a place that fits their lifestyle better today!
