News from Sarah

Hello << Test First Name >>!

I hope life is treating you well!

This month, the red-hot real estate topic is the insanely low interest rates.   I would love to yell this from the top of my lungs (or even over a loudspeaker!) that these rates and the current market will not last forever. Joking aside, it's definitely worth broadcasting!

Should you take advantage of these fantastic interest rates?

If you think you might benefit, I highly recommend talking with a lender to discuss your options. Here are a few scenarios where these rates may benefit you:
If you have been thinking about refinancing your mortgage, my lender partners can crunch the numbers with you to see if it makes sense. If you have been considering using your equity for renovations, you may get a double benefit: locking in a low fixed rate and enjoying the value of whatever you choose to improve! Just be cautious not to over-leverage yourself.

Now, if you have been thinking about upsizing this may be great timing to take advantage of the market, these rates, and move your current equity into your next home. And if you are considering downsizing as the kids go off to college or you are planning for retirement, we should talk. These are very important decisions and I can help ensure you or your loved ones have the right information so you can consider all of your options and make these decisions wisely.

For imminent retirees - Congratulations on your next chapter!  At this exciting time your decisions have never been so important.  My word of advice if you are planning to downsize at some point in the near future, is that you should consider buying your new home before you retire. Why? Sometimes people don’t realize that if they stop working their income changes dramatically and they may not be able to qualify for a mortgage as easily, or at all!

And for those of you looking to get into the market or considering investing in real estate, these low interest rates may be the catalyst you need.  The rates will likely go up from here and the mortgage rate can be locked in for the life of the loan. When the numbers make sense and the timing is right for you, we should strategize!

There is a lot to discuss with these low rates, the market, and these major life decisions so please use me as a resource. I always love hearing your thoughts and would love to share mine with you as well!
